Stabbing in Palmers Green

A man has been stabbed in a suspected drunken brawl on a quiet backstreet in Palmers Green, North London.

The man, who has not been identified, is understood to have been attacked by another man who was drinking a can of beer on the corner of Elmdale Road with Green Lanes.

A witness, who did not want to be named, told Londra Gazete he saw the two men exchange words before one drew a knife and attacked him with it.

The witness said he alerted police after seeing the alleged attacker flee towards the nearby North Circular Road, where he was quickly detained by officers. The victim’s condition is not known.

The Metropolitan Police Dog Section was deployed

Police had cordoned off a property on Elmdale Road on Monday morning and were seen to be leading sniffer dogs around the area.

The Metropolitan Police has not yet responded to Londra Gazete’s request for information.
