Throughout the last two months, worrying concerns on North Middlesex Hospital’s A&E service has been on media’s primary agenda. Following the latest incidents at the service, the matter was even taken to the Parliament by Rt Hon Joan Ryan MP, to raise awareness and trigger action immediately to get things better.

Talking to a spokesman from the Communications Department, we received hopeful news on the future of the department. The spokesman stated that the expected rotation of junior doctors to the hospital will continue as planned along with the hospital’s progressing situation from its previous concerns in equipment issues. The spokesperson continued “We would like to ensure everyone that we are doing our best to get back to our normal efficacy, now that we also are receiving help from the Royal Free Hospital London, things are changing for the better. Our clients’ comfort is our top priority”.

“TURKISH SPEAKING COMMUNITIES ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO US”

The spokesman from the Communications Department at the North Middlesex, concluded his statement with highlighting the importance of Turkish speaking communities for them by saying: “We have always appreciated the Turkish communities’ engagement with our hospital. At this stage, we would need their help more than any other time. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with translation and interpretation, helping the patients in the first place or with any clerical need we may have. We also would like to hear our clients’ and supporters’ feedback through our forums, which we organise here at the hospital. Those who may be interested in taking part in our forums to share their experience and thoughts with us, can e-mail us at northmid.forum@nhs.net or simply call us via 0800 0286394
