A seminar on money laundering and tax offence

Turkish Accountants Union successfully launched its fifth event. The event drew a lot of attention, as the attendance was unexpectedly high. The union is established to create a channel of interaction among the people within the Turkish speaking community. On 17^th of March, Thursday the series of seminars were organized in Grand Banqueting Suite.

Experts, lectured the attendants about tax offences and possible consequences of money laundering. The founder of Law society, Simon Rose and expert, Osman Osman gave insights about the topic. The seminars focused on the grave risks of such tax frauds such as 14 years of imprisonment, expulsion from work. The two experts underlined the importance of validating the money source when transferring money. In an event of suspicion on behalf of the authorities, the investigations might result in complicated processes which might eventually lead to prosecution. The experts warned businessman to take the required precautions.

The Turkish Accountants Union will host another free seminar in 3 months.
