MEMBERS OF THE local community who are of difference races and religions have come together at a breakfast held at the Leziz Restaurant in Dalston, Hackney, London.
The breakfast which was organised by a Turkish police officer from the Stoke Newington Police Station took place on Monday 21 December brining together members who are different races and religions together. Leziz Restaurant owner Cengiz Arslan recommended the idea of the breakfast and was organised to send positive messages to community and around London.

The Breakfast saw several members of the community attend they included, Head of Hackney Council Jules Pipe, Hackney Council Committee Member Peter Snell, Hackney are Police Chief Simon Lawrence, Stoke Newington Church Priest Reverend Niall Weir, Homerton Hospital Nun Reverend Robin, Aziziye Cami Imam İsmail Ergin Çoban, UETD- Union of European Turkish Democrats previous head of directory Muttalip Ünlüer, Homerton Hospital Imam Yaşar Zaman, Hüseyin Üzüm and Mustafa Sivas from London Alevi Federation and Culture Centre and also young police who are in charge of the10-19 age group voluntary Police Cadets and owner of Leziz Restaurant Cengiz Arslan and Kemal Karaali all attend.
Police Chief Simon Lawrance who spoke at the meeting said: “We are no different to each other, our communities are one and I am so pleased to see you all come together here this morning.”
