A TURKISH BRAND is to launch a new additional brand ‘Shadow Curtains’ in Europe and is planning to launch it first in England.

Demirci Perde who has been open in London for almost 25 years, plans to bring the valued curtain culture from Turkey to England.

Childhood friends Özgür Demirci, Süleyman Hayırlı and Ersin Altındal formed a partnership and created Demirci Perde at the beginning of the 1990s. After discovering a gap in this sector they decided to create the business and carried the curtain culture to their homes, work-places and even to universities and the brand took place among significant brands.

Özgür Demirci, explained that they began delivering the different curtain culture to Turkish, Turkish Cypriot and Cypriot communities and working with them. Now they have customers from all ethnicities.

Demirci also said: “Curtains are a must for women who live in the Anatolian part of the world, we noticed this almost 25 years ago and took our place in the sector. The quality Turkish textile and materials we began to use in producing the curtains received a lot of interest. We began having regular customers and raised our status as a company and with customers.”

He added: “The business we started with our community is now in one of London’s  biggest continuing structures. Our latest production of curtain was for East Anglia University.”

NOW IT’S TIME TO BECOME A BRAND

Demirci also said: “Turkey is a country that is shown for its infrastructure around the world. We are creating these high-quality products according to the requests of our customers.

“Our experienced staff work hard to create these products in our workshops, to say that we have began the curtain culture in this country isn’t an exaggeration.”

He added: “We have truly brought the curtain culture to homes in England, women in our culture and traditions value home design highly and want to welcome them guests in an elegantly decorated home space. Now we are launching a brand that will be outside of England and branch out to Europe. ‘Shadow Curtain’s ‘ is the brand we plan to raise our standards even higher by launching it to Europe with the quality in Turkey.

BELLONA CHAIN TO EXPAND

At the same time England’s Bellona representative Süleyman Hayırlı has also announced that he aims to expand the Bellona stores in London, he said: “We are the representative of Bellona and they are supporting us in opening other stores. As we find wider area spaces, the Bellona brand will grow.”
