President of the European Turkish Brands Association (ATMB) Vehbi Keleş,  visited the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), where he paid a visit to the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce (KTTO).

During his meeting with KTTO President Turgay Deniz in Lefkoşa, Vehbi Keleş discussed strategies to enhance the visibility of TRNC products in the markets of the United Kingdom. The discussion also focused on potential steps to be taken regarding exports from the TRNC to the United Kingdom, despite the international embargoes in place.

Aysun Önet İleri, General Secretary of the KTTO, along with Mustafa Ergüven, Deputy General Secretary, Eda Hıfzıoğlu Konuralp, Management Secretary, and Gizem Davulcu, Media and Communication Responsible, were present at the meeting. The conversation also addressed ways to supplement the existing export system to facilitate easier and more affordable access for UK-based citizens of Cyprus to traditional Cypriot products, considering that the UK hosts the largest population of Cypriots outside the island.
