The event lasted for two hours and there was intense interest towards the event. The participants consisted of the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic London Representative Zehra Başaran, Consul General of Turkey in London Çınar Ergin, Atatürk Society UK President Jane Özer, Limassol Association UK President Arife Retvan, CTCA President Leyla Kemal, along with artists and art lovers.
The opening speech was made by the TRNC Representative Zehra Başaran and she stated that the event holds an important value towards women and art and it’s vital for women to be involved in all aspects of society.
The event speakers, Barış Çeliloğlu, Özlem Çelik and Sociologist Semra Eren Nijhar, gave a variety of information to the guests in relation to contemporary art and the history of art.
The evening was followed by a cocktail party, which was attended by musicians participating in a great musical feast for the guests.
