CITIZENS ARE WAITING FOR A SOLUTION
FROM THE TRNC AUTHORITIES
TURKISH Cypriots living in the UK have com-
EXCULISIVE plained about being unable to reach the Turkish
Republic of Northern Cyprus’s (TRNC) London Rep-
resentative Office, while officials express they are
struggling to meet the intense demand of the citi-
zens.
Citizens who have been trying to make an appoint-
ment from the TRNC London Representation are
able to do as their phone calls have been unanswered.

called the representative office "hundreds of times"
to get an appointment, but could not reach them.

a response

the Representative office stated that “telephone lines
are extremely busy on a daily basis” and the quickest
form of contact would be emailing to book appoint-

Speaking to Londra Gazete Erol Memiş said “I want
to certify a document, I am old, I have health prob-
lems, and I do not know how to use social media or
send mail. I have been calling the representative for
a long time every day to set up an appointment, but
no one answers. It is not easy for me to go out and go
there, I thought of taking this risk and going to the
representative office...”
While Ali Hasan said to as he was unable to book
an appointment: “I couldn't complete... Page 2m
