19 May Commemoration of Atatürk was celebrated with great enthusiasm at center of CHP UK located in Edmonton, on Sunday 20 May.
The event was organised by the CHP Youth Union, many young and elderly people attended the event.
The chairwomen of CHP UK, Sibel Özçelik made the opening speech and emphasized on the importance and meaning of 19 May youth and sports day.
Following Özçelik’s speech, the chairman of CHP UK youth union, Burak Güler made a brief speech.
After Güler’s speech, CHP slogans were chanted and event continued with the explanations of accomplished events and future events which was greeted with great appreciation and applause.
Poems were in regards of reflecting the important of 19 May, a short film was presented and finally there was zeybek dance show.
