DR CAHIT Berk is well known by Londoners around Haringey and has been treating his patients for many years in his medical office. Dr Berk announced that he would no longer continue his career actively and he is closing his medical examination.
We visited Dr Berk who is gynaecology doctor, and we had got a chance to talk with him about his contributions our society and the work he has committed within Turkey and Cyprus. He said he loved his country very much:
“I came to London with the advice of my teacher in Istanbul, I served many years in London. I have now decided to close the medical office here. It is a great pleasure for me that people which use to be my patient’s years ago now come thank me with their children. I’m glad I had the chance to experience this feeling frequently.
I have given countless conferences and many certifications on many topics related to my profession. I would like to convey this knowledge and experience to future generations. I can evaluate the bids for becoming an academic.
I love traveling and going on vacations. I saw many countries of the world. However, I can underline that Turkey and Cyprus is a paradise. I love to play gold and Antalya is also a very convenient holiday town to play golf, therefore, I usually go there. I love Cyprus and Turkey. Whenever I have the opportunity to go to my country, of course, it makes me very happy.”
