ACCORDING to the Cervical Cancer JO’s Trust, there are more than 3,000 cases of Cervical Cancer diagnosed every year, where 75% of these cases can be prevented with Cervical screening tests.

Throughout the period of Cervical Cancer Prevention Week which will kick-start on 22-28 January, Enfield council is encouraging women to go for a free cervical screening test. Cervical screening is now easily accessible at any convenient time and location in Enfield. Making an appointment couldn’t be easier, for a free Cervical Cancer Screening at their GP. Women will also be allowed to book appointments through the primary care access hubs if they don’t have time to attend normal surgery opening hours.
The test can be booked through your local GP or Enfield’s primary care access hubs. The hubs will have hours suitable for everyone.
The hubs are situated at Evergreen Primary Care Centre in Edmonton, Carlton House Surgery in Enfield North and the Woodberry Practise in Winchmore Hill. They are open from 6.30pm-8pm weekdays; 8am-8pm on Saturdays and public holidays.
