TRNC’S PRESIDENT Mustafa Akinci, hopes for a referendum where a comfortable ‘YES’ is given and all sides will be pleased, parliament, the government, the political parties and the civil community associations are all by our side during this period.
President Mustafa Akinci has brought together the Nations Parliament, and on the Cyprus issue a special connection has been followed by an announcement. Akinci explained in the announcement that these kind of meetings will increase and be repeated. Throughout the negotiation period I am not alone, parliament, the government, political parties and civil community groups are with me and on Tuesday I’ll also be giving information about them as well.
Republic Speaker Sibel Siber is also being informed, it is important she is given information too otherwise chaos can occur. Siber said that the aim is for the people of North Cyprus to find a solution and reach a better, happier future then we are at today.
Community Democrat Party MP Huseyin Angolemili has expressed his concerns for the peoples possessions and homes and said that there has not yet been a negotiation in regards to this topic.
He added that they were in the period of criteria’s being decided and members of the public should not be worry. There has been great progress in the sharing of power and leadership according to Angolemli. “On this topic we have reached an 80 per cent agreement.”
