The new military service terms law has been announced in the official Turkish gazette on the 27th of January, 2016. The required processes have been detailed for payments in foreign currencies.
According to the consulate’s announcements those who made a payment of above 1000 euros will not be refund; The remaining installments for those who paid via installments will not be able to continue with remaining payments.
The announcement is as follows:
“ Enactment 6661, which asks for a regulation for the military service, has been published in the official gazette.
– For those to whom the requirements of the new enactment law applies, the price will be 1000 Euros (739 pounds, by 2016,)
– The payments are to be made by cash
-Those who made their payments before the regulation will not be refunded for their payments above the 1000 Euros limit set by the enactment. Those who paid according to the former enactment law will be considered to have done their military services.
Age Limit and deadline for applications: 31st of December 2017
- Those, who intent to make use of the new regulation have to apply by the last day ,31st of December, of the year they will be 38 years old.
- For those who had been unable to complete their applications before the age of 38, 31st of December 2017 is the last day to make new applications.
