Under the category of Foreign Language Film, Turkish Director Deniz Gamze Erguven has been nominated for her film Mustang, representing France, her place of residents.
The film takes place in the Inebolu region; Five sisters are struggling to find freedom from the constraints imposed on them. Leading roles: Gunes Sensoy, Doga Doguslu, Elit Iscan, Tugba Sunguroglu and Ilayda Akdogan.
