The Turkish siege was protested by the Democratic Union Of Community Association(DUCA), on 13.01/2016,18:00, in front of NO. 10 Downing street, calling on the British government to publicly oppose the Turkish government.

Joined by around 50 other people, representative from the organisation, Sevine Erdogan, blasted the UK government and condemned the Turkish government: “At least 560 civilians have been killed [by the Turkish state] …[…] The British government have to break their silence”.

“We are here because the Turkish government is killing Kurdish people, including 12 kids who were shot at point black range,” Agit Deryer, A British born citizen, born to Kurdish Parents.

An activists inflated with DUCA ended the hour long protest with a short speech outlining their grievances.

“We want the British government to openly address the massacre, stop supporting Turkey and demand that it should be stopped. We, as Kurds, are fighting Isis, not only for us, but for the benefit of humanity as a whole. We should be left without a voice,” said Chad Ulger.
