The Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations UK (CTCA UK), is preparing for its Annual General Meeting.
The AGM will take place on Sunday, 11 May 2025, between 11:00 and 14:00 at the Grand Palace Banqueting Suite (242 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8JX). During the meeting, financial and activity reports for the 2024–2025 term will be shared with members. Following the presentation of these reports, updates will also be provided on preparations for the 7th Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival, a major event held annually with broad participation and followed closely by the Turkish community in the UK.
In the second part of the meeting, in accordance with the Council’s constitution, elections will be held for the new chair and executive committee, with votes cast by member associations. Immediately after the election, the new chair is expected to introduce their executive team. This process will once again highlight the Council’s democratic structure and participatory approach.
Those wishing to run for the CTCA UK Chair must complete their application by 1 May 2025. As per the Council’s constitution, applications must be supported by reference letters from at least two member associations. Applicants are required to send these letters by post, as well as submit the same documents electronically to info@ctcauk.com postal address Little Spinney, South Hill, Chislehurst, Kent BR7 5EF.
Council officials have invited all member association representatives to attend the general assembly and actively participate in the election process.
