Day-Mer to hold diabetes event

The Turkish and Kurdish Community Solidarity Centre (DAY-MER) will hold an information event on diabetes next Tuesday, January 17, between 11 and 13 pm.

The event will be held to give participants information about diabetes information will able give them a chance to have their sugar levels checked. Day-Mer made the following statement: “We are waiting for you at our informative event where you will be told about what is diabetes, what are its stages, how it can be prevented and what you should pay attention to if you have diabetes.”

More than 4.9 million people in the UK have diabetes with some 13.6 million people are now at an increased risk of type 2 diabetes in theUK, right now its thoughts  850,000 people are currently living with type 2 diabetes but are yet to be diagnosed.
