The UK has reported another 51,870 Covid cases and 49 more coronavirus-related deaths in the latest 24-hour period.
The number of people hospitalized was 717, the latest figures of hospitalisation are for Monday 12 July.
Over 1.1 million people were tested in the last 24 hour period.
61,681 people received their first vaccine dose while 201,893 received their second.
So far 46,159,145 have had their first dose and 35,543,321 have been fully vaccinated.
