The met office has confirmed that today (Wednesday 20 May) is the hottest day of the year so far with 27.8 Celsius recorded at Heathrow.

People have been enjoying the warm weather with parks and beaches across Britain now busy as people enjoy the sunshine according to the new social distancing measures.

 

Tomorrow London is expected to see highs of 25 celsius in the afternoon, with the weather is expected to drop slightly from Friday into the week with highs of 18 to 21 celsius.

The warm weather looks to be staying around as the met official showing hights of 25 celsius at the start of next week.
