THE London Art Forum, organise an event with the aim of bringing together artists living in many parts of the UK and bringing art to society to celebrate World Art Day.
The London Art Forum was founded by the support of Zehra Başaran, the Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the forum held the event at the Turkish Cypriot Community Association on Sunday, April 15.
Alongside the participation of the TRNC London Consul Ülkü Alemdar, members of the forum Arife Redvan, Semra Eren-Nijhar, and Erkan Pastırmacıoğlu made a joint statement in regards to World Art Day.
The statement as follows:
“We are trying to reach out to art lovers and artists in London by bringing together various branches of art on the last Thursday of every month. We are preparing a program on “Women and Art” at 7 pm on April 26 Thursday. Today, April 15 World Art Day in London, United Kingdom, Cyprus and in Turkey and we celebrate this day for artists and art lovers all around the world. As the London Art Forum, we greet all artists and art lovers in London and wish for the value of art and to be acknowledged.”
