RESIDENTS of wood green can now have their say in the ambitious plans to transform the area as public consultations will be starting. Haringey council will be running the consultations from February 1 until March 16. Engagement sessions for Wood Green Area Action will take place at the Library and former Wood Green post office.
The council are looking to deliver 4,000 new jobs, 6,400 new homes aiming to create ‘a thriving, prosperous, green town centre, where current and new residents are proud to live and work’.
The plan will look at transforming mainly area of Noel Park and Woodside with part of Harringay, West Green and Alexandra wards will be affected.
Engagement sessions will be held on; – Tuesday February 13, 10.30am – 15.30pm, former Wood Green Post Office, Library Arcade. – Saturday February 17, 12.00pm – 18.30pm, former Wood Green Post Office, Library Arcade. – Wed February 21, 16.00pm – 20.00pm, former Wood Green Post Office, Library Arcade. – Tues February 27, 15.30pm – 19.00pm, Wood Green Library.
