FROM 31 January, 2018 onwards London’s buys hoppers schemes comes into effect, which means you will be able to hop on and off buses within one hour.
Formerly, bus hopping enables you to switch buses without paying an additional £1.50 charge, with regards to you scanning you oyster or contactless card on the new bus within the bounds of an hour. However, this could be done only once.
Within the new changes, pronounced by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, passengers will be able to change buses countlessly but this is only valid within the same one hour window which you will only be charged £1.50.
