I have been in various social events, seeing family and other activities but now I am here for myself for the first time. It was a different excitement for me. There is no need to tell anyone about ‘Cyprus’; we know that, we are all Cypriots. I was born in 1931; I am so young. You know, 1931 was the day when Cyprus fired. My book starts from 1931; I tell my childhood, school circuits, Baf corner. I tell you about Cyprus of those years. In my book, there are real stories that lived up to the end of my teaching. The second of my Flying Years book will feature stories from my life of presenting and publishing. I will present the second series of the book to you in the first months of next year. “After Kanatli’s speech, UK President Arife Retvan of Limasollular Association took the floor.
