YUNUS Emre Institute in London and Albaraka Turk Participation Bank in Istanbul are presenting a new art exhibition – We Art Together¬ at the Asia House, opening ceremony and speeches took place at a private view on Monday 26th February 2018.

A collection of prices will be shown these are of Albaraka Turk participation Bank in Istanbul. It will comprised of two categories: The first is Eleven works in jali thuluth and jali ta’liq script by the great masters of the nineteenth century, the golden age of Ottoman calligraphy, ably rendered in marbled paper by the contemporary artist Alparslan Babaoğlu and the second is twenty-four works in thuluth, naskh, muhaqqaq, rayhani, jali ta’liq, and jali thuluth (this is a style typically written in the form of vertically-stacked compositions [istif]).

The exhibition will be opening to the public on Tuesday 27th February; the We Art Together exhibition will feature 40 pieces by artists, portraying a mixture of traditional and modern styles of Islamic calligraphy.
