CHP (Turkish Republican People’s Party) released a written press statement condemning the arrests of HDP MPs in Turkey, referring the event to as worrying and anti democratic.

The written statement followed as:

“As CHP UK, we see the recent arrests and detonations against HDP MPs as a punch in the heart of our democracy and it should be known that we see this matter as unacceptable and against any democratic parliamentary regime. This recent actions, have been sealed in our history with utter shame. Our country does not deserve this and we will never accept this developments ever in time”
