Detectives have issued CCTV footage of two men they wish to identify after a shot was fired at a restaurant in Hackney.
At around 23:30hrs on Thursday, 21 April, a man, [Suspect 1] walked into the Macho Bistro in Kingsland Road, Hackney and threatened two teenage males with a knife. The suspect then made off on foot.
Less than five minutes later, a second man arrived at the location on a moped. He entered the restaurant and fired a blank firing gun towards the same two victims. Nobody was injured.
CCTV caught the man, [Suspect 2] fire the shot, run down the stairs, look for the gun casing and then run off.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with information that may assist the investigation or who recognises the two men shown on CCTV.
‘Suspect 1’ [image ref 211812] is described as around 16 years old, 5ft 8ins in height and possibly Turkish. He wore a distinctive silver coloured ring with a small black stone on the ring finger of his right hand. He wore a black t-shirt, black or blue ‘Puffa’ style jacket and blue denim jeans.
‘Suspect 2’ [image ref 211810] is described as a young male, 5ft 8ins in height and wearing a white motorcycle helmet. He was dressed in a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and a black jacket and was riding a grey coloured moped.
