A comforting news on a new legislation for commuting between UK and Turkey by cars have been announced by the Turkish Embassy in London.
Announcing the news on Facebook, the Turkish Embassy explained the Ministry of Customs and Trade’s new legislation under the name of “Private vehicles pre-rescript” (özel taşıtlara ön beyan uygulaması). It has been said that the Ministry of Customs and Trade has launched the new enterprise which simply is about a registration oh their vehicles with non-Turkish plate numbers. Once the registration is done, the commuters won’t need to wait by the borders and their vehicles shall be identified automatically from the records. The Ministry also highlighted the fact that the records would only be kept for 15 days, so it is highly crucial for commuters to get themselves signed up within 15 days of arrival.
