Democratic Youth Union (DGB) protested David Cameron’s silence in the face of Turkey’s, the state ally, treatment of Kurds in South-Eastern Turkey.
DGB is a London (Turkish) youth organisation. In a statement, DGB call on its members and members of the public to join in a protest in front of Downing Street, on 30th January, 2016.
Up to 100 people attended the demonstration; slogan condemning Cameron’s silence and AKP’s “terrorism” were thrown around.
Protestors called on Cameron to address the world and the Turkish state; condemning the Turkey’s siege in Southeastern Turkey and calling for an end to it.
The organisation has vowed to keep on demonstrating, and has called out to the public to help them in their cause by protesting.
