UK CANCER ASSOCIATION BENEVOLENT is to hold a charity event for the first time to raise money for cancer patients on Sunday 25 October at the Meridian Grand, London.
TRNC President Mustafa Akıncı’s wife Meral Akıncı is to host the event where 400 guests are invited. Entertainment will include performances from Turkish singer Safiye Soyman along with her orchestra, Anıl Göçen and tango and salsa dances from Inspirtion dance group.
The event has been prepared with the financial help and support of the public, the association expects to receive sponsorship and advertorials from businesses within the Turkish Community.
“A bridge has been formed between the public and cancer patients by the association. On behalf of every cancer patient, we would like to thank those in advance for all the help they are doing to form a stronger base, said the association.’
TRNC’s London Representative Ambassador Hon Oya Tuncalı and Doctor Teoman Sırrı have explained that The UK CANCER ASSOCIATION BENEVOLENT is charity based. Here is what the associations help involves: Dr. Teoman helps by researching Turkish Cancer patients problems, there are also translators and psychological problem solving during visits, visits to children with leukemia to help with their needs and moral support, sending them on holidays with their families, preparing informative and movating seminars and to help Turkish Cypriot patients Help Association financially.
Tickets for the event are priced at 50 pounds.
