The event, brought together policymakers, academics, and human rights advocates to discuss international justice, equality, and multilateralism.
“Calls Remain Empty Without a Fair International System”

International Order and the Palestine Issue
Oxford University Emeritus Professor Avi Shlaim, one of the panel’s key speakers, discussed the struggles of the Palestinian people following the 1917 Balfour Declaration, stating that they have been oppressed under Zionist colonialism and Western imperialism. He described the policies imposed on Gaza as “the intersection of ruthless settler colonialism and imperialism.”
A Call for a Just Future
The panel emphasized the deficiencies of the current international order, highlighting that power, rather than justice, remains the dominant force in global affairs. UK Parliament members, academics, and human rights defenders underscored the necessity of policies based on equality and solidarity worldwide.
The event demonstrated the critical need for global cooperation to achieve international justice. This significant panel in London resonated widely within the international community.
