Art enthusiasts in London gathered at the British Alevi Cultural Centre and Cemevi for a literary event celebrating World Short Story Day on 14 February.
Organized by the British Alevi Cultural Centre and Cemevi, the event focused on Giovanni Boccaccio’s “The Decameron,” widely regarded as the first collection of short stories in world literature.
The event commenced with moderation by Sevgi Sarıtaş and a presentation by Dursaliye Şahan. Participants, including Sevim Özdemir, Sevgi Sarıtaş, Gülsüm Coşkun, Mine Ovacık, Aycan Saraçoğlu, Hatice Demir Kaya, Ali la Pax, Mehmet Arslan, Belgin Özkurşun, Leyla Alp, Leyla Şahan, and Elif Yüzer, shared engaging discussions on various stories.
