Limasollular Association held memorial for Özden Ediz

Arife Retvan, President of the Limasollular Association, orgainsed a Mevlid-i Şerif was held in memory of Cypriot Turkish photographer Özden Ediz on the 40th day after his passing.

Retvan stated, “We organized this meaningful event to honour and pay our respects to someone as valuable as Özden Ediz. He was truly unique in our community, and it’s uncertain whether we’ll ever see someone like him again.”

Özden Ediz was well-known in London, particularly within the Turkish Cypriot community, for his contributions as a photographer, documenting cultural events and creating an extensive archive of the community’s social and cultural life. His passing has been regarded as a significant loss for the Turkish Cypriot community in London.

Retvan expressed her gratitude to all attendees and supporters of the event on Tuesday evening(15 October).
