Meaningful Aid from İYİ Community Volunteers to North Cyprus

On May 28, 2024, a total of 80 aid packages were dispatched to Northern Cyprus under the coordination of Aydın Hassan, President of the London Volunteers Association, and Özlem Konaklı, President of the UK İYİ Community Volunteers. The packages were sent with the support of transport sponsor Mr. Kemal Altunç and the logistics company EUROMED, ensuring that they reach those in need in Northern Cyprus.

The aid packages include medical equipment, wheelchairs, walkers, diapers, various clothes, and shoes. Additionally, personal contributions from Mrs. Şadiye Balıkçıoğlu were included in these packages. The packages will be handed over to Mrs. Raziye Kocaismail, President of the Cyprus Cancer Patients Association.

Aydın Hassan and Özlem Konaklı expressed their gratitude to all the kind-hearted donors, valuable sponsors, and EUROMED, the maritime company that always transports aid shipments free of charge, for their contributions to the aid campaign.

Both Hassan and Konaklı emphasized the continuation of support for cancer patients in Northern Cyprus, highlighting that such aid strengthens the movement of solidarity and goodwill. The aid packages are expected to reach those in need promptly.
