Remembering Huseyin Mavideniz family, friends and community members Marched calling for justice in his name in London.
Some two hundred people walked from Harringay Arena retail car park to Wood Green library in north London on Saturday 16 September.
The march which set off at 12.30 walking down Green Lanes, calling for justice for 29 year-old Huseyin with banners and signs. Community members shouted chants such as ‘we want justice for Huseyin’ and ‘we want justice’ as they made their way down to Wood Green drawing attentions for locals as they made there way down the route.
Huseyin a father of two was brutally murdered outside a nightclub in North Cyprus in the early hours of August 10. Two men who worked at the club have been arrested for his murder.
Huseyin’s uncle Irfan Davulcular called for all those involved to be held responsible and justice be served. He also raise questions in the safely calling for regulations to be enforced in North Cyprus to ensure young member of the community who, just like his nephew when visiting their homeland will not face the brutally he which claimed Huseyin’s life but are safe and protected while at such establishments.
Saying “Huseyin’s mothers heart is broken, Huseyin’s fathers heart is broken, Huseyin’s grandfather heart is broken, his family’s heart is broken. No other children should ever experience this, no other mothers should have to cry, no other family should have to cry.
