The Bexley Turkish Day Centre, located in the Welling area, has reopening for the Turkish-speaking community after the pandemic.
The centre was inaugurated by Bexley Mayor Ahmet Dourmoush and his wife Mayoress Elmaziye Dourmoush, along with members of the community.
The Coordinator of the centre, İlkay Zihni Çıralı, provided a statement to Londra Gazete: “We are pleased to announce that the Bexley Turkish Day Centre, which was closed during the pandemic, has reopened to serve the Turkish-speaking community in Bexley and surrounding areas such as Lewisham, Greenwich, Bromley, and Dartford. “
The centre is operated by Dervişe Ahmet and İsmet Arnavut, along with many volunteers. Bexley Turkish Day Centre is open every Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.”
