The Cypriot Turkish artist B Young, who shook up radio charts first in London and then worldwide with his track “Jumanji” released in 2018, delivered an unforgettable night at La Nouba, North Cyprus over the weekend.
Joining him on the stage was one of our country’s successful artists, Oğuzhan Buğur, who joined B Young on stage for two songs, accompanying them with his guitar. Performing in front of thousands in Kyrenia as well as taking the time to meet with the attendees and take pictures with them.
Bertan Jafer known by his stage name B Young, is a Cypriot Turkish rapper, singer, and songwriter from Hackney, London. Before becoming a rapper, B Young worked as a sound engineer, developing his melodic rap style over a few years.
He is best known for his debut single “Jumanji,” which was released through Columbia Records and reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart. On August 25, 2017, B Young released “Been Wavey.” The song garnered over 11 million views on YouTube, helping B Young gain recognition and allowing him to reach the heights of “Jumanji.”
In recent years B Young released “Wine.” He promised to release music more frequently in the coming year, hinting at an upcoming project. On March 19, 2020, he released “Want2.” In August 2020, he released “Last Night,” featuring Tion Wayne.
