The Turkish Woman Philanthropic Association (TWPA), will be holding a gala dinner and dance event in October to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The event, held at the Regency Banqueting Suite in North London, will also serve as an opportunity to “commemorate” the wonderful work TWPA has done for our community since its inception and to “celebrate the great achievements of Turkish women.”
Originally planned for the year 2020, TWPA’s 50th-anniversary celebration was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The date, rescheduled for this year in March, has once again been postponed due to the devastating earthquake in Turkey in February. Organizers of TWPA hope to be third-time lucky – event details and ticket reservations are provided below.
This public event will include a three-course meal, all non-alcoholic beverages, and light musical entertainment.
In line with its charitable nature, TWPA will donate all proceeds from the 50th-anniversary dinner and dance to two worthy causes it currently supports: autism and dementia. TWPA is engaged in various projects in these areas and conducts various activities to guide and support those affected by autism or dementia within the community.
