THE Atatürk Socitey UK (ASUK) will celebrate the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with a special event to be held in London.
IADD aims to be hopeful by building a bridge from Turkey to London at the event that will take place in Finsbury Park on Sunday, May 28, 2023. The event will take place between 12:00 and 16:00.
Within the scope of the program, musical performances will be performed by Melek Yalçın and Özgür Tandoğan Canyurt. In addition, the folk dance show and the show of the Logo Dance Academy will add colour to the event. Our young people will experience the enthusiasm of May 19 with poems and various plays.
Speaking to Londra Gazete ASUK said: “We are waiting for all the participants and we hope to celebrate an important and historical day for our country together.
“In addition, poems reflecting the spirit of May 19, as well as various plays will be held at the event where our young people take the stage. In this way, it is aimed to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and sharing among our youth.
“Participants can bring their own picnic baskets in the picnic area specially prepared for the event. Accompanied by the beautiful nature of Finsbury Park, we will come together to celebrate one of Turkey’s most important days.
