TRNC Chamber of Commerce President Turgay Deniz and an accompanying delegation met with the European Turkish Brands Association (ATMB) President Vehbi Keleş and board members. During the meeting held in London, ideas were exchanged on increasing trade between the TRNC and the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, Deniz stated ‘that in order for our presence in the TRNC to continue, accessing foreign markets is essential’. Deniz said, “This is why we are very happy to come together with Turkish companies doing business in England and to see their success. We want to deliver the products I produce in Cyprus to the UK market through these companies,” he continued.
Keleş also stated that they are pleased to provide the necessary support to Turkish Cypriot companies in the UK market. “The aim of the ATMB is to increase the promotion of Turkish brands in the European market, to ensure that brands can compete more effectively by combining their strengths, and to help the Turkish business world be more represented in Europe,”
Keleş added as ATMB, they are ready to contribute to the cooperation for the TRNC brands that want to operate in Europe to take place in the European market.
