The Turkish Consulate General office in London has given notice ahead of the Presidential Election and the 28th Term Parliamentary Election in Turkey.
Information was given on the electoral enrolment deadline of the citizens of the Republic of Turkey, who are eligible to vote in the Turkish Presidential Elections and the 28th Term Parliamentary Elections to be held on May 14 in Turkey.
In the announcement made on the social media pages that citizens of the Republic of Turkey living in England were asked to check their electoral roll records.
Saying “…Information regarding the election date and arrangements in London will be announced separately.
“Please check your foreign voter status on www.ysk.gov.tr website or E-Devlet.
“Your address must be registered abroad in order to vote in the elections to be held abroad. Address declaration is required for this.
“Address declaration can also be made by mail. For information, see the Information Notes/population section on the website of our Consulate General.
“In addition, the address declaration process can be made in person at our Consulate General between 09.00-13.00 and 14.00-17.30 on weekdays without an appointment. The Republic of Turkey identity card (T.R. identity card, T.C. passport or T.C. Driver’s License) must be presented during the application.
“Citizens who come to their relatives in the UK after the earthquake disaster and want to vote must also make a declaration of address.”
