A third person has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Nikolay Petrov Vandev in north London.
Baris Eren, 19 was charged on Monday 14 March with murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife. He appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Police rushed to Penshurst Road in Tottenham on Monday March 8 following reports of a stabbing. Officers found three men at the scene, two who had stab wounds.
Nikolay Vandev, aged 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18-year-old man was treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening. And an 18-year-old man was treated for minor injuries.
Ali Tasyurdu 18 and a 16-year-old boy were found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, February 25 of the murder of 19-year-old Vandev.
The pair was also found guilty for grievous bodily harm to a second 19-year-old and had previously pleaded guilty to possession of a knife on June 7, 2021.
