CTCA UK announces new committee members

ON April 10, CTCA UK members joined a zoom call to announce new committee members and for the official handover of leadership from Ertugrul Mehmet to Ayşe Osman.

Former Chair Ertugrul Mehmet announced that he would be stepping down a year into his term due to personal reason at the end of January of this year, on the call as the official position of Chair was transferred over and the new board of directors announced.

On the video call, Osman thank Mehmet for this work and the former committee members for the successful work they carried out despite all the difficulties during the pandemic period.

As the pandemic continues CTCA was not able to hold an Annual General Meeting and therefore the decision was made for Osman who was servicing as Duty-Chair was to be elected Chair for the remaining year left on Mehmet’s term.

In a press release, they shared the new board of member which included: Chair – Ayşe Osman, Vice President – Kenan Nafi, Secretary – Ilker Giritlioğlu, Treasury – Tumay Ekrem, Education – Füsun Dedezade, Public Relations – Dr Ayfer Kahraman, Lobby – Gönül Daniels and Active Members – Ibrahim Mani, Mehmet Tekari and Arif Kokkoz.
