The British Alevi Federation(BAF) and Enfield Alevi Cultural Centre (AKM) held a Vaccination Day Clinic for Enfield residents on Saturday, March 27th.
In a statement about the vaccination day, BAF President İsrafil Erbil said: “We have served with the awareness of our corporate responsibility under pandemic conditions since March 2020. The solidarity buildings that started with food aid were used as a Covid test centre. On the one hand, food aid and test centre studies continue, on the other hand, vaccination service was provided at the BAF Headquarters building and Enfield Alevi Cultural Center on Saturday, March 27, 2021.
“The Oxford / Astra Zeneca vaccine was given to 300 people by the officials of the National Health Service (NHS),” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of the institutions taking steps together and in solidarity during the pandemic process, Enfield AKM President Zeynep Demir said: “It was necessary to take part in this fight against the pandemic that the world is struggling with and to do our part in this fight. We are proud to be in solidarity with healthcare professionals fighting the disease in this period when our corporate activities are halted .”
