Last year the British Alevi Federation (BAF) started a food bank at the Enfield Alevi Culture Centre, during the first national lockdown the volunteers worked 7 days a week helping to provide those in need with food and essential good packages.
Bay May 2 months after the national lockdown was announced last year they had helped to delivery over 2,000aid packages, throughout the pandemic the have work to help those in need and once again as the UK starts the new year and a new national lockdown has been announced once again they have re-started the food aid campaign.
In a post shared on social media, BAF said: “Those who are in need of food aid due to restrictions introduced throughout Britain can come to the British Alevi Federation building and for food packages.”
