The Turkish Kurdish Community Solidarity Center (Day-Mer) announced that 31. Culture and Art Festival will take place online instead of Clissold Park.
The festival which has been taken place for 31 years was traditionally held at Clissold Park every year however due to Covid-19 the festival will take place online.
In the press release signed by the Day-Mer Board of Directors, the following statement asserted: “Our festival will take place as usual but this time it would be an online festival which will be streamed on our Facebook page. Our festival witnesses the 30-year adventure of migration to the UK so this festival means a lot for the Turkish speaking community. Artists from Turkey and other countries will also join our festival which will take place on Day-Mer’s Facebook page from 2pm on Sunday, July 5.”
