LONDON’S Consulate General of Turkey has once again stated its appointment service after having to stop the scheduled service due to the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the statement made by the consulate’s social media account, it was announced that they will continue to provide appointment services within the framework of social distance rules, starting on Monday, May 18, stating that they provided services to citizens by phone, e-mail and the internet throughout the process.
The written statement made by the Consulate General is as follows: “Dear citizens, Due to the developments related to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had to stop accepting appointments on 24 March 2020.
Since then, we have tried to answer all questions of our citizens on a 24-hour basis, by phone, e-mail and other methods that operate on the internet, and to find solutions to their problems.
As of Monday, May 18, 2020, our Consulate General will start accepting applications within the framework of the new working schedule.
In order to protect the health of our citizens and staff: Taking only the person who will make the transaction and keeping the people who come with them waiting outside, Not to let our citizens in advance before the appointment time, In case the appointments are delayed due to the prolongation of the transactions inside, to keep the applicant outside, even if the appointment time has come, to request that the applicants use the hand sanitizer to be placed at the entrance, as there is no possibility to provide mask for the applicants, we ask our citizens who have a mask to enter our Consulate General with their own masks, to ask our citizens waiting outside to be careful to approach each other at most two meters,
