THE festival committee made the following statement about the second festival to be held this year:
“As the UK Cypriot Association of the United Kingdom (CTCA UK), we will do the Cyprus Turkish Culture Festival, which we have successfully accomplished last year, at Enfield Playing Fields, Donkey Lane, Enfield EN1 3PL on Sunday, June 17th. We organised our festival in order to make this great and powerful work as a whole gathering, in cooperation with our 26 member association, Turkish Language Culture and Education Consortium and UK Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce.
The most popular Cypriot dishes and will be at the festival; folk dances and live performances of Cypriot musicians such as Group SOS, Arif Edizer, Cem Kafkas, and Bahar Gökhan will occur. Entry tickets are £2, which includes a bottle of water and a Father’s Day gift bag.”
