İdil Biret fascinates Londoners

İDİL Biret, one of the most famous pianists of the world, presented a magnificent concert in London on 13 May Sunday evening, attracting a lot of interest from both Turkish speaking community and British art lovers.

The famous artist performed at Cadogan Hall in the evening organised by Piu Entertainment with the support of the Yunus Emre Institute in London.

İdil Biret, a pianist who’s encountered music at the age of just two, was described as a “wonderful child” and attained world-class reputation, fascinated classical music lovers in London with her outstanding performance.

A disciple and successor of legendary masters such as Wilhelm Kempff, Alfred Cortot and Nadia Boulanger, İdil Biret have performed in many countries across the world and she has sold more than 3 million albums worldwide.

İdil Biret visits presented the favourite works of two giants of the romantic era in music, Schumann, and Rachmaninov.
