TWO women known to be of Turkish heritage lost their lives in a traffic accident in one of two busiest highways in M25 with a 10 year left fighting for her life.
It was learned that those who were involved in the collision which happened on Monday night at 23.20 were family of Atilla Üstün, the President of Luton Turkish Culture and Education Centre. According to the information obtained, Atilla Üstün’s son Murat who was driving the vehicle on the M25 highway while on their way to Luton. Due an flat tyre Murat stopped on the hard shoulder of the motorway, for security while the driver was trying to change the flat tyre all of the passenger waited outside the car. At the same time, a truck from the same direction struck the car which was parked in the hard shoulder, leaving the young girl in a critical conditional fighting for her life sadly her mother and grandmother to lose their lives.
At the disastrous accident, Atilla Üstün’s wife Sevim and his mother lost their lives at the scene. His 10-year-old daughter Ayşe was left severely injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
Essex Police have now started an investigation and made a statement. Police announced they had arrested a 32-year-old truck driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
CONDOLENCE FROM TURKISH EMBASSY AND CONSULATE GENERAL
The Turkish Embassy in London and the Consulate General issued a condolence messages from their social media accounts. In the message of mercy to the loss of life, condolences were sent to their family and loved ones.

The police, who have started an investigation, are appealing for and information from eyewitnesses and for any dash cam video of the collision to call 101 Traffic Accidents Department and provide information (Serious Collision Investigation Unit) or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk to give in more information about the accident.
