CRIMESTOPPERS Charity is offering a large sum of reward for vital information to help tackle down and arrest the three men who are responsible for the death of pensioner Ahmet Dobran who was violently robbed in Newham, London.

The 82-year-old man Ahmet Dobran, suffered from Parkinson and cancer, was beaten in a vicious robbery where three men attacked him, while he was making his way home after a trip to his local shops. Dobran who used a walking stick to aid him, was grabbed by the neck and struck on his back and arms by three men who ripped jewellery from his wrist on Sunday 27 August 2017.

He remained in hospital in an induced coma for a number of weeks, after various operations to attach a tracheostomy and tube to his stomach, and was unable to swallow food or liquids, he was moved to a nursing home but sadly he lost his life in hospital on Monday 15 January after the incident had aggravated. This attack is believed to have provoked his Parkinson’s condition.

Roger Critchell, Director of Operations at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “This callous attack on an elderly man, who was struggling with Parkinson’s and cancer, has left his devoted family grief-stricken and desperate for answers. At Crimestoppers, we believe everyone has a right to feel safe, wherever they live. There will be someone who knows who was involved in beating up this defenceless man. I would ask that if you have information on Mr Dobran’s murder, please speak up and help keep your community safe by contacting our charity. I promise you that nobody will know you spoke to us, and that you will remain 100% Anonymous. Always.”

If you have any information on this violent robbery, please contact the charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through the non-traceable Anonymous Online Form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. There you will also find information terms and conditions.
